I believe it would take focus away from the (brilliant!) level cap if the game started to display rank instead of level for level 20 characters.

Alternatively, display rank instead of level for competitive missions.

Oooh, I like that too. Will satisfy the grind obsessives cos they can "My Rank is bigger than your rank" till the cows come home.. but everyone tops off at the same level.

Great idea, cos everything aside people DO like people to know how "brilliant" they are at the game. Even titles such as 'Charr Killer, Slayer or Masacre of' etc might be pretty cool. Just so the fight happy people have more to work for lol. Keep em happy.. give em a little medal or something..

I also love the idea of titles... Asheron's Call 1 had a system for earning titles that gave you a small bonus to a skill. Unarmed Combat had 'Pugilist' if I remember correctly.

I think it would be a brilliant addition for an expansion, and perfectly in keeping with the flavor of the game.

Titles... Perhaps acquired from defeating a large quantity of a certain enemy, thus you get a damage bonus, or killing a certain boss gives you a boost to a skill, or just completing a particular high-level quest and turning in a special, rare item. That sort of thing.

So long as the titles are balanced and not too powerful, they'd be great.

Medals are also cool, and would be good to put in alongside character biographies. Hell, even add a mission completion total or percentage. Sheesh, how about a title to go along?

Hey yeah. That would be cool. Titles you can only get for doing certian things.
Perhaps some kind of ranking based on something other then killing monsters (going places, exploration, mission completions, etc.)
Someone mentioned a bio, perhaps click a character and get a list of major achievements (shouldn't be a 10-page book, but perhaps 10-15 missions that are wicked hard. You certianly would have a beter idea of who's who.)

Additional idea: Some kind of posting of "most significant achievers" where people can see their character in a "place of honor" of sorts for a week or whatever when having completed something special.
